Question Magnaflow Question

I am considering buying a Magnaflow #16614 exhaust and was wondering if I would have to remove my spare or hitch. I don't want to do this so if I have to, what are some other comparable systems? I own a 2005 F-150 King Ranch.

Just finished installing my 16614 today. You should take the spare tire down to remove the factory exhaust. You will have to customize your rear hanger brackets alittle. The rear hangers bolt up where the hitch bolts are located. I just ground the corner off each bracket so it will sit flush on the inside of the hitch and drilled a hole on the side of the hitch near the original location. The exhaust is mounted the same as if i had no hitch. You will love the sound of the Magnaflow. I bought mine on e-bay from the performance peddler. Just do a search on "magnaflow 16614". I got mine for $440.00 shipped. Got it in 3 days or so. Very pleased with them. Just submit an offer like i did. The other guy that has them on ebay didn't respond to e-mails in time..

I got an 05 screw 4x4. Not very hard to install. It took about 2 hrs to install. Most of the time was to figure how to modify the rear hangers. Very pleased with sound. Nice and quiet at idle, but throaty when you stand on it. Performance is better, but i have more mods to do before i can brag. Next on the list is an airforce one air intake and a Troyer tuner. I will try to snap some pics tomorrow.

Damn, FX4, we're doing the EXACT same things to our trucks. I'm fixin' to buy the 16614s (on your tip, BTW, which I thank you again for), an AirForce One intake system, and a Troyer tuner kit. If you had a King Ranch, I'd start gettin' worried, like separate at birth or somethin'.

Just installed the 2 inch autospring and 20in nitto grapplers with mb bruzers all chrome. extang snappless velcro tonneau. GAP grille insert so far. Future's are the following: airforce one, Troyer tunes, window frt tint, new door speakers, leather seat covers off e-bay and maybe a hood.

Also a former owner of a 2001 Lariat 4x4 screw..

Now you've distinguished! I did the tint right away last week when I got my "new" King (have to protect that leather STAT). Had a Line-X liner put in her Friday. Definitely gonna put the GAP insert in the grill. Your wheels sound awesome.

How do you like the sound of the 16614? I posted another thread about some contact with an exhaust shop. How's the sound in the rear of your cab?

The sound isn't bad to me and you can only here it when you really get on it. I didn't have time to snap pics, the wife made me do yard work all day and then go out to eat. I will try to snap pics again tomorrow. Line x is in the near future for me as well, as soon as someone buy's this bedliner!!!
