I have a 99 f-150 5.4. I was looking for a really good sound. Not something loud and annoying such as a dodge has. But something that sounds more like a mustang. I was wondering what kind of systmes i should buy. I was looking into borla but everyone on this fourm seems to either have flowmasters or magnaflow.

 

I love the sound of my Magnaflow cat-back! I think it has the perfect balance between an aggressive tone under acceleration, without an annoying drone at highway speeds!

 

I just got back from having my flowmaster 40 put on with all cats still in place. At the same time, my friend was pulling out in his '05 mustang GT. I literally could not tell the difference between our sound, only the volume. Im a few decibles louder than his stock sound.

Needless to say, Im very happy about that. I have the 4.6, though, they sound like mustangs no matter what.
