I was wondering, is there much if any difference between the dual out verses a single out cat back exaust, I am looking at the stage 1 kit from troyer and it comes with a single out, But the dual is an option, Is there any advantage to the dual out or is it just because it looks better. I guess I am old school because I think that I would prefer the dual out.

 

It depends on noise and flow.

The dual will be noisier and flow better at higher RPM, unless you go to a larger diameter pipe single. I put a 6" single on a truck once, deep rich tone, and flowed better than dual 2". Just do the math and find out which one has the greater size for your choices. The draw back of course, the larger, the noisier.
