Question Do it yourself?

I am looking at a new Flowmaster super 40 muffler system for my F150 5.4 4X4. I was wondering if the muffler systems need to be professionally mounted. Do you need a welder? I also dont have large jacks to lift the truck very high. Do they make the pieces small enough so you dont need a walk-under jack?

I can use a creeper under my 4x4 truck. You can jack up the rear axle, or the body. I have a high lift hydraulic jack that still needs a 2x4 block to lift at the body under the doors.

You can use clamps instead of welding, but a decent exhaust shop can swap a muffler for $25-50.
