i have a 94 f150 with the 300 inline 6 and i want a new exhast on it. i have a flowmaster 40 series i can put on it but i was wanderin if straight pipes off the cat would sound better what do y'all think

I don't wish to sound harsh but, you asked for my opinion and this is it...

I think it would sound like crap with either of thosechoices. However, it is your truck, and my opinion has no bearing on what you like or dislike, so.......go with what you want to, and I hope you the best.

go wid the flowmaster
a strait pipe may be loud but if you want that aggresive sound you need a muffler

 

I have a single inlet dual outlet 40 series Flowmaster run behind the passenger door on my F150 straight six. I love it.
