Thumbs up Modifications!!!

I just got a 2001 f-150 supercab and its maroon and gold with nerfs and bed liner, i was wondering what mods i should get first? i am going to get the american thunder flowmaster exhaust system and i want to get a k&n air intake. does anyone have any good links to any k&n air intakes? i am wondering where i can get some 4x4 offroad stickers because mine blend in with the truck and you cant realy see them. i am also going to get a tornado to get better gas mileage and gain some hp.

mods...

Lose the Blowmaster exhaust, unless you like paying for less torque. Go with a Magnaflow SI/SO.

Lose the K&N - get an AF1.

Toss the Tornado - a real POS.

Save up for a 9300 from TP.

Do yourself a favour - before cracking open your wallet and pissing away good money on bad mods, use the Search feature in these forums to educate yourself. There aren't posts here for "cutting off flowmasters..." for nothing.

Cheers

I had a 2001 F-150 King Ranch with 5.4L. I put on a Gibson SS, dual sport, side-swept exhaust. I was very pleased with it. At the time, I was towing a boat and it really seemed to hold torque better. I just put a Gibson SS single side swept on my 2005 F-150 supercrew. Beautiful fit right out of the box. These are not the typical "growling" exhausts. The offer very pleasant deep tones and quiet highway performance. Noticeable performance difference just exhaust alone. I have also heard/read good things about the Magnaflow...almost bought one of those, but went with experience on the Gibson.

as far as the tornado goes... my uncle makes little advertising things for companies such as pens and shirts and things. well im sure i can dig up a paper weight and u can give me 3 bucks to shop it to u... thats about a savings of 70 bux after buying a tornado... and it doesnt even hold the paper as good!
