Newbe here. I have a rust hole in the chrome tip on my exhaust. If i fix it will i get better sound?

 

Welcome ! Are you really going to fix a tip? Have you considered buying a new one? Don't expect changes in sound from this, unless you're installing a different design.

 

Well i know of some tips thats are made to give better sound...plus you didn't exactly answer the question...
