help! please

i have a question about the exhaust on my truck. i've been reading all those threads about the aftermarket exhaust and decided to get one. i have a 2004 F150 XLT Supercrew 5.4L; originally i thought i needed to order the 04 exhaust system from magnaflow, but then i read the threads about the trucks made after june 1 needs the 05 exhuast. so i checked the sticker on the side door and it clearly states the truck is made 06/04. from this point i figured i needed to order a 05 exhaust, but then i crawled under the truck and found that the pipe looks striaght, but does have a slight bend in a "s" shape. please take a look at my gallery and inform me on the correct exhaust.

Thats definitely looks like the 04 style. Check my gallery to see what the 05 looks like to confirm. If you want to double check, the length of the muffler inlet on the 05 exhaust you see in that picture is 12". If your is, I think 19" is what Gibson said when I ordered mine, then you have the 04 style.

Hope this helps...

It really doens't matter what the door sticker says. All that indicated is when your truck was produced.

If you have the 12" "S" bend inlet on the front of your muffler, then you have the 05 style exhaust.

If you have the 19" relatively straight muffler inlet, then you have the 04 style exhaust.
