Thanks to the fine Gentlemen of the Board, I've decided on two Magnaflow mufflers coming off the cats on my 2000 XLT 5.4.

Now about tips ... I was checking our Troyer and saw some Magnaflow SS resonated tips. Has anyone experienced these? They say you can use them in place of a muffler or in conjuction with a muffler for a 'refined note.' Just wondering what 'refined' may mean. Wussy? Mellow? I don't mind mellow at idle, but when I lay on it, I don't wanna feel like I wasted my money on two Magnaflows! Anybody? Anybody?
