I just finished installing me new headers but i still have one problem. First thing, this was a huge pain in the ars! Since the egr tube doesnt line up perfectly to the fitting I now have a big problem. I have cranked on the nut as far as i can get it, but there is a tiny little leak coming from the fitting. It is very small but i dont want it to cause any further problems. Can I run a bead of high temp rtv aound the fitting or some other kind of sealant? I have some high temp epoxy but that will be too permanant. I will never be able to get the tube off again.
