Got true duals put on my 03 FX4 5.4L. Sounds grrrreat. A guy down the road from me owns his own shop and cut off my Y-pipe and ran two pipe to the rear and got crome tips out the end. ******er sound great when its cold out and you start it up. It raps load. By the way got no muffles on just straight pipe on it. Only cost me $200 for the parts and labor. plus gained about 1-1.5 mpg. Highly recommend do it.

 

yep, i know a guy at school who did that on his '01 5.4, exact same setup, sounds mean as he//!. Major sound difference b/t my 4.6 with cut-out muffler/dual tailpipes straight pipe setup vs. his.
Im planning on 2 hi flo converters to replace my 4, true dual 2.25" off that all the way out, no mufflers. Hope to be really loud then
