Borla exhaust...
Anyone here have a Borla cat-back exhaust? I am debating between the Magnaflow and Borla for my 2002 F150 4.6 V8. I don't want a very loud exhaust, just the most bang for the buck. I already have an Airaid intake. Also, where might i find a good price for Borla, if there is such a thing? Thanks..

got one on my 04 screw.. i think its great. got it off ebay. saved about 400 bucks. easy on. took about an hour. i gained some performance and gas mileage. the sound is real nice at around 1800 rpm. on the highway there is no drone and can hardly be heard in the cab. i would definetly do it again. makes the truck sound like it should have sounded out of the factory. as for other systems........i dont know.

If 1 were your off the lot muffler sound and 10 straight pipes with no muffler i would put the borla at a 4 or 5. at idle it sounds good. its not obnoxious or annoying. it makes the truck sound like its got a pair. when accelerating if you go easy it is alittle louder but not bad. at 1700 to 1900 rpm it sounds the best. at highway there is no drone and if you turn down the radio and get on it you can hear it somewhat in the cab. but with the dual rear exhaust at the back bumper that noise is well behind you. hope that helps. i would have no reservations about spending the money on the system again.

I would give mine a 5 in the sound department. It is really quiet until you take it on a long drive. For instance mine got a decent bit louder after an almost 3 hour drive at right around 80 mph the whole time. Also Borla is excellent quality mine wen on in just under an hour, and that was the first exhaust I had ever done. My friend got Banks exhaust for his truck and nothing fit right!
