Question Rhino?-Ravin Z-55-Gibson Sideswept

I'm seriously considering installing a Gibson SideSwept catback system on my pick-up, but I stopped at Midas this afternoon to check my options.

The mgr told me that the Ravin Z-55 would be too loud, he recommended the Z-77, but couldn't find one to fit my truck. I want the single 3" exiting behind the passenger side wheel. The mgr tried to talk me into a Rhino muffler (lifetime warranty) with the Ravin 3" mandrel bent pipes, $215 installed. Is anyone familiar with Rhino mufflers? Has anyone installed the Rhino 911 on their F-150?

I'm mainly looking for improved performance and better mpg. I'm not opposed to loud exhaust, but I don't want any resonation at highway speeds. Duals out the back are out of the question because of the fiberglass topper and the bird dogs in the back, I also pull a dog trailer occasionally.

Thumbs up

Lot's of posts on this. I love the Gibson Swept Side. Not much louder than stock, just a nice "big block" rumble. And you'll not have to worry about losing anything, just gaining power and torque.

I've got a couple pics of it exiting mine and a couple of recordings. Click on the links in my sig. Both the Gibson line and the one at the bottom for the sounds.

Gibson!
