IF i just cut the muffler off how would my 1982 carb. 300 i-6 sound. will i have enough backpressure. How would a 18 inch glasspack sound? thanks

 

Did that to mine when it was new in 1990, split the tail pipes and ran it straight out the back. No problems. It sounds like a very quiet small block V8. I am a glass pack guy (Allied or Blue Diamond)but I would look at the Walker Magnum Bullet, not necessary, but might add a little more rumble.
