From my reading here I was under the impression that Ravin is only sold through Midas dealers. My best friend owns an independent muffler shop here and last week received a Ravin catalog from his exhaust wholesaler. Just FYI......

Hi limelight. I don't know what your budget is but I just had true duals (custom) installed with FlowMaster 50 series dual inlet/outlet, aluminized pipe, and 18" x 3 1/2" slash tips for $350 + tax at my local Tuffy auto center. It sounds awesome and I think I achieved the impossible: Loud enough for me but tolerable by my wife!

As far as I understood, the Ravin was only available to Midas. I had spoken to a customer service rep a few months back and told them that they were ignorant to deal only with Midas. They stood much more potential selling the muffler through a distributor. I am certainly glad to hear that they are beginning to deal outside of midas. Once more people start hearing these things, I am positive that they will gain alot more recognition!

Thanks for the insight into the headers. I am considering adding a superchip to start. I am a little skeptical about adding the headers to such a new truck. Maybe once the factory warranty expires and the extended warranty kicks in, I just might consider it. Fortunately I have never had a problem launching my boat. I have a very peculiar type boat, and it is totally impossible to launch off a standard ramp. I have to have along shallow ramp, and it is really easy for the truck to come out of the water, unless we forget to run the bilge pumps first! Thanks again for the info. I may have some questions for you later.
