Exclamation Inspection Problem

Ok, so back in May I get a Dynomax Thrush TurboTube exhaust for my 97 F150. I love the thing, its loud, better mgp, etc. It comes time to renew my inspection, so I take it to the first place I could find figuring its all the same anyways. I pull into a JiffyLube, tell them what I need and they take my truck in. 5 min later the guy pulls me into the shop and starts pointing at my new exhaust trying to tell me that it's not a legal exhaust. That a legal exhaust has to be a muffler. I don't even argue with him! The guy was a moron and would not pass my truck because he did not know the law about resonaters and exhaust. Needless to say, I was pissed, so I just took it to my local 4x4 shop and had them do it. So just for future reference for anyone that has this system and needs a new inspection sticker, don't bother with Jiffy Lube!

I have a DynoMax dual exhaust and didn't have a problem with my inspection. Well, actually, I had to replace the gas cap.

We don't have any JiffyLube around but we do have some MoronsLube. They are everywhere. Last time I did my inspection it was at a Texaco Service Center with a great equipment and staff. My next inspection is due in June and I will be going with around 6 months on the new muffler.
