Smile Just Finished

Hey I just installed my new Flowmaster
Force II system. It took some extra effort, but I think it was worth it. It looks good and sounds just perfect. My question is do I now need to reset my computer, if so HOW do I do this?

Bob, Yes you will have to reset your computer.Disconnect the negative cable to the battery and turn you headlights on. This will drain "all" the energy from the electrical system. In 15-20 minutes, turn off the headlights and reconnect the cable.Your computer will have been "reset" and will optimize your new mod.
Did you buy the Force II system from F-150 Online? How easy was the installation?Loud,Quiet?I am looking into buying this system and installing it myself and tips would be appreciated.

Hey Air Assault,

No I didn't buy it here online. I got it at a local speed shop. It came out almost to the same price with the shipping added and I got it and put in the same day. It wasn't hard to put in. The hardest part was getting to line up correctly. My dad and spend a few hours lining it up. I finally had to take it to a shop nearby, where they install these things everyday and they heated up certain spots and rebend a few small areas and now it looks great. I just need to buy the the tips (so many to choose from). But I'm glad I got the Force II, it sounds real good and I get many lookers when driving by.

And thanks for the tip on how to reset my computer, I'm going to do it tomorrow and I'll let you know how I make out.

A few questions:

What is a Force II by FM? Never heard of it. Also is it necessary to reset your computer with a regular cat-back system?
