Talking Flowmaster 40's.....Legal?

Alright you guys convinced me not to get exhaust that is illegally to loud. Once again I have a gmc truck. Nothing against ford, its just what my mom and dad bought. Will the Flowmaster 40 series without the delta flow be to loud?? Thanks

Cool

I'll step up this time since I have a 98 Camaro Z28 besides the F150. Personally my wife or I use it to stomp on Honda's and Mustangs. She doesn't like to drive the truck anyway since its to high and the infamous "it doesn't have any power." Anyway on the Z28 I installed a Flowmaster catback with a "regular" 40 series muffler. Let me tell you its much louder than my F150 with the same muffler. I don't know why but it is twice as loud. Its probably due to the mufflers location towards the rear of the car. If you have Camaros or Firebirds in your area, listen to it going down the street and you'll know they have an exhaust!

If you want alot of throaty sound, buy a Flowmaster 40 or a Dynomax Ultra-flow. The latter is a few decibels quieter.

I have a 40 series on my truck and can assure you it is not too loud. In fact I am getting ready to install full duals with 40 series in a couple of weeks. Nice rumble and they do get loud when you stand on it, but not loud enough to draw undo attention when you just driving around.
