Exhaust setup questions

Exhaust setup questions.

On my previous two F150's I ran true dual with flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I really like the sound and on the 5.4 with 4.5" exhaust tips it really sounded nice. The problem though is that it seems to loose low end tourqe. So in the past I installed under drive pulleys but you still can't seem to make up for the torque loss. So here are some of my question's

Who's running true duals and what kind of setup are you running and how did you make up the low end torque loss? or did you gain HP and Torque or just HP?

Who's running long tube headers and what kid of setup do you have - custom??

On the mustang you can run the off road h-pipe or x-pipe, etc and cat back system and seem to pick up HP and torque. Is anyone here running a similar setup?

I thought of working with a muffler shop to build a custom off road h-pipe to bolt up to long tubes and then run two 40 Series flows out.

Does anyone know if someone already made this or a similar setup like they do for the mustangs.

Any help, advise or ideas welcomed!!!!

Thanks

p.s. This is on an 03 5.4L 4x4

I've read quite a few posts similar to this one and I belive that the consensus is that true duals on a 5.4 WILL lose some bottom end regardless of manufacturer. They wind quicker but lose torque.
