Flowmaster?
Wannabe - the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (lot's about that online) allows the use of aftermarket products without voiding the warranty of the truck - unless the manufacturer provides the replacement parts at no cost to the consumer (fat chance of that happening...). If the dealer claims that an aftermarket product caused something to fail under warranty - the burden of proof is on them.
This applies to the usual stuff we do to our trucks - Superchips, Air intake systems, exhaust systems and so forth.
So - go forth and spend lots of money.

Indigo that's EXACTLY what I want to do with my truck.
What pipe size did you use?
Does your 50 series give cabin drone on the interstate?
Can't decide 50 or 70 series.
I want a deep, throaty, sound but not too loud

54RegCab,
If you want the Flowmaster sound but no drone and not too loud - consider the Flowmaster DeltaFlow. Wonderful tone under accelaration but a simple hum at highway speeds. Heck, even the wife likes the sound.

I just got my Flowmaster Force 11 today. I just got done putting it on. And it sounds nice. Just right.I got it right here at the online store. I am very happy with it.

54Regcab: My pipes are...I BELIEVE...2 1/2" diameter, tips are larger...chrome plated. Looks great. Flowmaster has a series of mufflers. I notice an increased sound in the cabin, but I like the way it sounds. If you want something quieter, I suggest the 70 series. Believe me though, you WILL feel the difference if you do it this way!
Good luck!

Does the Flowmaster catback you bought from the online store have stainless steel tips/extensions? Was it easy to install? Also, how about any gains/losses in power? I'm thinking about purchasing that system as well, but am a little concerned about losing some low-end power.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt Yes it does have stainless steel tips. The hardest part was getting the old one off. I just went to work with it so far so I didn't get to really test it yet. But it sure sounds nice. I don't know how it will be pulling a load. It sure seems like the low end power did not change. Bryan
I have the Flowmaster with 3" pipe from the cat with 3 chamber Flowmaster with 3" x 24" echo tips. Sounds great. Have the K&N filter. Fixen to get a chip, whitch one, I don't know
