Cool NEED SOME ADVICE!!

I bought a Ford F-150 4X4 with the 4.6 V8. I bought the truck to haul a 21ft boat. I'm looking to try to increase the horsepower for those up hill trips. I'd also like a little around town power. Will an exaust system and maybe a K&N air filter be a good place to start? I don't want to void the warranty and don't want to spend a bunch of money either. Please help this non-automotive inclined person. Thanks all opinions appreciated. Rich
Would a performance chip be worth the money?

All those mods are Ok to improve performance on your truck, but the chip (specially a Superchip) will give your truck more HP and Torque per dollar spent.

I'll second that. I have the K&N and exhaust, and they will help, but the SuperChip is THE way to add performance. Make sure you read up about it in the performance chip forum first, though.

Cool

Here's one more vote for the Superchip. Best bang for the buck that I've ever spent.
