Question Just Orderd A New Borla Cat-Back! QUESTION!

I just ordered a new Borla Cat-Back system, for my 93 F-150 Flare Side! It's going to take a few weeks before it comes in though
I'm hoping this thing will add a few HP and also that it's sound will be more unique than all the FlowMaster equipped trucks in my town

But what I am wondering about is this:

I ordered kit #14563 Which is a Dual, Square Intercooled tip, with single tips on each side. But I didn't realize until after I ordered it that it is a side exit! They don't make the rear exits for my truck so this one comes out the sides. I would assume it comes out the side of the rear though and not up front like the 97 models do. What do you guys think?

By side exit on the older trucks do they mean 97 style like a nastruck or do they mean side as in the back and out the side like the stock exhaust?

Also just look at a pic of the truck and you will see why I can't have a side exit

Bmw325: How much did you pay for it? I think you'll notice a difference in low speed rpm. I notice a HUGE difference after duals about 1500 rpm, noise at that speed is excellent!

Yea, I would be worried too with those air dams. Nice ride BTW. Can you call and ask if they will exchange it? Or find out how close to the rear wheels it is?

OK. The suspense is killing me!

Blower, head-work, NOS... What's the plan?

I saw that the guys at Musclestang said to go for the "sqeeze", but with all the extraneous parts costs, are you going to do it?

I put a Borla from Ford Motorsport on my truck. It has dual pipes from the muffler back with squarish tips. They exit in the stock location behind the rear wheel. I thought they had a kit available with rear exit back when I bought mine, but I can't remember for sure. I had a noticable increase in power.
