Got good low end response and no drone. Not much (if any) louder than stock exhaust. Good power gain and well worth the money. Be sure and install muffler with scoops pointing toward the front if you want your power gain to be on the low end.

Ford Man,
The 3" diameter didn't kill your low-end? I've heard that the increased size detracts from the bottom end torque, which is the reason I didn't install one yet. Is there really a noticable diference in power? Thanks in advance!! Doc

Cool

Ford man, Did you try the Gibson with the louvers pointed the other way and if so what was the difference? Also did you call Gibson and ask them if the 3" exahuast would be too large for the 4.2 since the sweptside is also used for the 5.4?Still getting the gibson just thought of some more questions since your the only one I have heard from that has the sweptside for the 4.2 and 5-speed.Thanks again

No, the 3" pipe did not hurt the low end torque at all. When used with the muffler provided by Gibson, back pressure is properly maintained. I did, in fact, discuss all of this at length with various Gibson personnel. And lastly, no, I did not try the muffler in both directions.

Question

mike150,
where did you get the 15% off coupon at? I live just a little bit from one of their distribution centers, so i would not need to pay for shipping
