Alright! Sounds like one bad 6-banger!

You drive Highway 51? That's the kind of damage I used to come home with too.

H51, one of the world's most dangerous highways.... no, nothing bad has happened to me there. The cracked windshield is due to a dodge caravan tossing a busted tire onto my hood and smacked the windshield on I35.

Nomo,
Is there anything on your Expedition that would make it stand out? I might spot you one of these days on H51 or 169 (Creek Turnpike). Also, in Owasso have you noticed a 1997 F150 that looks identical to mine (has tonneau, running boards, dual exhaust) but its a supercab? Its usually parked in front of a smoke shop that is by railroad tracks. That's my dad's friend. That's the F150 that I test drove and convinced me to get silver.

'97 f-150 XLT V6 auto 3.55 silver reg cab flareside , 6 cd, Lariat floor mats, tonneau, ground effects, tint, glasspack w/ duals, new= ion optics fog lights, cracked windshield (thanks to a dodge caravan). the heartbeat stops here.

I haven't driven 51 since '92 (when I left OSU). I had a few cracks, chips and a big blow-out on it though. My wife drives 169 every day to work (now at South Crest Hospital) but not as far S. as the turnpike. As far as I know, we have the only Black Expedition with argent bumpers, Smittybilt step rails and push bars, big BFG tires and 3-spoke wheels in the Tulsa area. Here's a newer pic- it now has lights on the pushbar: https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000002.html

We live 5 blocks North then 2 blocks West of the smokeshop's "old" location at 76th & Atlanta. I drive by it every day going to/from work. Many times I have noticed the silver F150- and that black Explorer! If I stop by, do you think he'll let me drive his truck too?

Get Mudder up here and we'll have a get-together. Seems like everything's at 71st S., so how about down there somewhere?

Actually the wife drives the silver one now, and the black explorer belongs to the spoiled son (his dad was going to give him the 57 vette but he said it was too old). The son also has a dragster. Dad's friend got a 99 F350 not too long ago and is thinking about getting another F150.

Mudder is going to be in Oklahoma the last weekend of this month. Maybe we can get together that Friday (the 29th) in the Petsmart parking lot on 71st (that's where I work part time).

The tobacco business must be good. I have to agree with the kid- I wouldn't want any old stinking 'vette either [insert huge quantities of sarcasm here].

The end of this month is good for me (for now). Petsmart huh? Funny thing is that I was just at the 41st store tonight. Dang dogs eat too much

When you have a specific date/time, let me know.

if that friday works for you then you pick the time. Me and Mudder will be going to Tulsa for dinner anyway. Our schedules are wide open. my classes end at 12:30 and he'll probably make it to Stillwater at 1:30 or 2:00.

I am an okie, used to be anyhow. I know a guy from Owasso. Actually I am from very south west corner of Oklahoma. I got a cracked windshield from a gravel truck on that stupid 51. You should see the front part(under the grille) of all the sand pits. on my truck.

Jolley: I have 2 trucks both have dual exhaust. On my 93 I have straight pipes with echo tips that come out the rear. On my 1989 I have true duals(yes cat was removed before i got it) and turbo mufflers that come out after the rear wheels. In oklahoma/texas you wouldnt have the salt problems that we have in Kansas. I love the echo tips but Seems like I have to wax them everyother week in order to keep them from rusting out. I know a lot of people who have the tips on the side, and they look nasty after only a year or so. I have seen both side and rear exit on 97 and newer F-150s and REAR looks a heck of a lot better! Specially with Tips. just my 2 cents

Cool. So are you going to join us Pastmaster?

Pony- My scheduler (aka wife) says 10/29 is good. She probably won't get off work until 6pm. Is 6:30 too late? If not, you might get to see both our vehicles since I'll drive down from home and she'll come straight from work.

You guys wouldn't mind looking at a 7 or 11 year old truck? There are in pretty decent shape for right now.

Hey Nomo:

I would like to hear your take on the WorldCom Sprint merger. Send me an email. I lost yours when I rebuilt my system recently. I also switched ISP's. You know who I am... The cajun boat man. myname@qni.com.

well, according to my sources the 'merger' has happened yet.

Hey Nomo,
Do you work for Worldcom? I worked for the project manager a couple of times. Maybe you know him.
