Exclamation Really Cheap way to get a great sound!

I have a 99 f150 ext. cab with a 4.6 and I really wanted it to be louder than it was without spending a lot of money. So what I did was replaced the stock muffler with a pipe. I bought a couple of 2.5" pipes and a pipe clamps and cut off the stock muffler and clamped the pipe in place. You get a REALLY great sound! and it only costs $14.00
Just thought I'd tell ya guys.

A friend of mine did that and it sounded pretty good. He ended up getting the Gibson Super Truck, though. Did you lose any low-end after you did this?

I don't really notice any difference, I do think it revs faster though.
