lightning exhaust on 4.2l

I know the Factory Lightning exhaust is Dual-in Dual-out.. Would this work on a 4.2l V6? maybe with a Y pipe or something to split into it? And if anyones done this could you explain how it sounds? thanks!

You have 2 head pipes before your Y-intersection. Chop them off before the Y-intersection and run them like true duals into the Lightning system. You may get a better response on the sound and various installation tweaks in the "V-6" area.
