I have an 1990 F-150 XLT 300 block with a L-6 4.9.

I want to make this sound better muffler wise. I was told to get a cherry bomb exaust. Or somtjhing like that. I was wondering what i should do. My budget is about 170 bucks. Thanks for lookgin.

 

A cherry bomb is a glasspack. Nothing wrong with glasspacks, but I've had them on 6's before and they sound like a boat.

 

go get you a cherry bomb and blow the glass out.make sure you put it on backwards now or you defeat the purpous of a glasspack and if it sounds like crap you're out 20 bucks,still plenty to go get you a flow or whatever else you decide upon
