Exhaust Flamethrowers?
I know this topic has been discussed in other threads on the forum but there have been no real answers. I want to put flamethrowers on my 2001 4x4 with 4.6L...What is the best way to do this or where can i find directions.
Pretty sure it's not possible with the cats still on as you'll need a gaseous unburned mixture to belch flames. Plus the cats act like a spark arrestor within its substrates inside.
Somehow, I'm still wondering how it works on a fuel-injected vehicle which the sensors constantly adjust for fuel/air ratio as you wouldn't be able to pump extra gas like an old carburated motor. I've seen older street rods belch flames, but I've yet to see a newer truck or car do this.

Ive been going through hundreds of fourms and it seem like i cant just one that has all the awnsers....WELL I FOUND IT!! I seached the web for hours and this is best fourm for flamethrowers it tells you everything (if you got patence to search through all the enterys)....it works on EFI/carbs...cats/no cats..and its gives a wiring diagram and parts list (so you dont have to buy a KIT!)..the only drawback is that it is all about gas/propane injected flames so if you dont have a problem doin that this is what youve been lookn for...>>http://scripts.scripthost.com/wwwboard?woodguy
