pros:you gain high end hp,louder(like that's ever bad) you can make it backfire and blow 6 foot flames,if you do it right and the exhaust is hot enough, and you get the great sensation of stickin it to the man
cons:won't pass emissions without a very simple modification and if you don't do this it will also run rich, using more gas.you lose a little low end,not much but you notice it.

all you have to do to make the computer think they're still on is put a 1/4 ohm resistor in the downstream o2 sensor signal wire
i think its the gray one,but it should work either way as long as you don't put it on a heater wire.i'm pretty sure both the heater wires are the same color(black) so just put it on one of the other 2.use a good butt connector on the wire and resistor and tape it up good.very simple modification.just make sure you get your gutted "cats" or pipe or whatever you're going to run in place of the cats welded up real good.one thing i suggest is just takin off the y pipe, weld it onto something in places that won't be removed and then cut off the cats, gut em,weld em back on,reinstall the y pipe, alot easier than tryin to weld in a tight space like that
