I have a 90 f-150 302 4x4 what is the difference in magnaflow and flowmaster. Which one is better???

 

from the research I have done the flowmaster will give you slightly better sound, but because of the baffles it does not flow as well as the straight thru design of the Magnaflow..

I just had the magnaflow installed in my 4.6 today & love the sound, plus she should give me a few more pony's. Anyway I sent back the super 40 flowmaster I had bought for the magnaflow & do not regret it..

 

Just installed my Magnaflow SI\DO yesterday. LOVE IT!!!
Way nicer than the Flowmaster that I had on my Avalanche. The Flowmaster did deliver a nice tone, but with some research I found that people were more satisfied with Magnaflow. I must agree I like the all-stainless components and the straight through design. Also NO interior noise at highway speeds. My Flowmaster did droan in the cab on the highway.

go with the magnaflow, all flowmasters do is make u have a big bark with NO BITE.

if ur gonna pay the dough atleast get a few ponys!

Magnaflow is the way to go. It has a straight through design and a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel or aluminized muffler. Also, there is no droning at highway speed. I went with just an aluminized muffler, and I love it. Sounds good like a V8.
