it is a right cause everybody who drives buys gas,and therefore pays taxes on those PUBLIC roads giving them the right to drive on them.and 99.9% of people drivin rice rockets know NOTHING about cars and that's why their's sound like crap and get annoying.these trucks sound GOOD and some of us are proud of em and want everybody and their mama to hear us comin.
and from what i've seen on here you don't need to be talkin bout anybody needin to grow up.and remember if its too loud you're too old!

 

ok, just MHO.... and i dont wanna sound like a tree huggin hippy, cuz if there is one thing i cant stand is hippies....anyway i dont think its right to cut your cats off, there is high flow cats u can get that give anywhere from 5-10 hp and give the exhaust more throat. i guess the word is "apathy"!! they put cats on our trucks for a reason, millions of cars spittin out toxins every second of everyday. im just doing my part to take care of the country i help defend, i think us truck guys should do our part.

well, these trucks still run extremely clean without cats,i tested mine myself on a sun machine with only the elbow cats still on and it ran between 45 and 60 hydrocarbons ppm and i took em off from necessity not for anything else,mine were stopped up and i don't have 200 bucks to spend on somethin i can get rid of and not have to worry about anymore.plus i like to blow flames and if i had cats that just wouldn't happen.

 

Go with high flow cats and stay legal. Believe me the high flows are loud!

Removing cats is illegal in all 50 states even if it is not inspected or enforced in your area. Stay legal and stop poisoning the environment. Magnaflow high flow cats are awesome. I know several guys in the area with them. I am still stock but plan to upgrade soon.

see if you can find someone that works at an exhaust company that you know. have them install electric cut-outs infront of the cats. then when you get pulled over or when you do your emmison testing you just flip a switch and its legal again
