Magnaflow 15609 questions

Considering adding a 15609 cat back system. Can anyone tell me if I will pick up a good amount of rumble to my truck, I have a superchip and Air force 1 intake so I am looking more for performance than anything, but I also don't want to spend 400+ dollars and not get a noticible increase in sound. Really wanting to know what it sounds like when you get on it.
P.S Another hope is that the old lady won't notice too bad that the exhaust has been hauled over.
Thanks,
Matt

I know I saw several Magnaflow 15609 in peoples signatures so give me something here, even if you know a buddy who has one and want to comment on the sound.

#15609 is a great system to get a little more sound and an increase in power over stock, without the annoying drone on the highway or wake up the neighbors loud. It most certainly should have the WAF.

very happy with mine

i think the best sound to deesribe it is throaty- i wanted something that imp[roved performance withou interior drone- i got it-i pull my 7x14 tall dual axle trailer- with my 3 racebikes in it and water weighs about 5k- pulling that with my truck versus my buddy's 00 superduty 5.4[ flowmaster40] is night and day-damn flowmaster drones so bad while that trailer behind it - it's annoying to say the least but the noise it makes is good outside the cab ,but makes too much inside the cab- btw- he said the saame thing i concurred - did nothing for performance- my .02$

Make sure to let us know what you think when you get it installed. I have a 2003 Screw and still haven't decided what to do with the exhaust yet. That's the one I am leaning most towards... so let me know!!

Install is complete, Love the sound It is not annoying at all and driving on the highway it is exactly what i wanted. I can see how fast anything louder would start to get annoying. Just enough rumble to let you know I have some exhaust but doesn't sound like a lawnmower. Thanks for all the advice/help

Did you bolt on yourself or get it welded? If you did it yourself... how was the install?
