Stainless tips

Stainless tips

Just Checking...

Will a set of stainless steal tip rust??? My chrome tips totally rusted over the winter.

No...keep the inside fresh by applying some paint there

After 2 winters in MILD NC the chemicals they used in the 2 snow storms we had really did a number on my chrome tips. The outside edges started rusting on both.
I just replaced mine with 2 Stainless Steel tips to get rid of the rust problem occuring again. They will cost you more but cheaper than replacing the chrome ones every few years.

I have heard of a lot of people using high temp paint like TexfordD said to keep the insides looking fresh.

I used a high heat gray then went over it with a biege...now all I do is hose out the inside and it looks fresh
