Borla cat-back: how does it sound??

I've posted this question a couple times on different forums with no response - I hope someone here can help!

Thinking about the Borla cat-back system for a new 5.4L F150 (2005 - yes I'm doing early research). What is the sound/tone of this Borla system comparable to? How agressive is it? I think I know what a Flowmaster 40/50/70 series sounds like - can you compare it to one of these?

Thanks!

Not sure what it will sound like on the new 5.4, but I had a si/so on my 99 F150 5.4 and it sounded somewhat louder that stock. Kinda sounds like a V-6 in a Grand Prix, a little bit euro... wasnt the sound I was looking for. But what it lacks in sound, it makes up in performance.

Ive got the split rear Borla on my truck. It is quiet at idle and while cruising, but it has a good throaty sound when you get on it. Though it is still not loud enough to be obnoxious. YellowFX4 has a sound clip he can send to you via e-mail. Look in the 2004 F150 Forum. Hope this helps you. There are pics in my gallery if you havent seen this set up yet.
