Flowmaster 40s vs. 50s

I'm taking my 2004 F150 into the exhaust shop these weekend. I want some good sound, the employee said 50 series flowmaster. I'm going to have a single with 3". Should I go with the 40 series or 50 series? Let me know your opinion. Thanks...

The 40 is going to be louder than the 50 with a little more cab resonance. I had a 40 on mine (not 04) and ended up getting it swapped for a Delta 50. The 40 had a nice sound but too much cab drone at 60-65 mph. It got a little more than I wanted to listen to all the time. The 50 sounds great at idle, lets you know when you are getting on it and no cab drone...

Thanks for the response. I think I will go w/the 50s.
