Question

Whats better si/so or si/do magnaflow. I want better hp and tq cant loose any. Also I will be keeping my stock pipe, or I could get 3" but wont be mandrel bent. Help please before I buy.

Everyone has their own definition of better. The people that pick SIDO are those that want the dual look. I have never seen where it provides more power or torque on a near stock N/A F-150 motor. Assuming you are not buying a cat-cak system, I'd just replace the muffler.

If I went with dual outs will that hurt my performance at all????

hey ford man remember if you go with duals you're looking at power loss do to back pressure. with siso you will not lose any

I wouldn't say you will lose power, just that you may not get as much as SISO. What motor do you have? I generally recommend dual 2.25" for 4.6L and 2.5" for 5.4L engines.

Hey Ford,

I just put on a magnaflow 18" ss si/so muffler. It sounds awesome and there is definitely a low end gain. I'd go si/so. Just my 2 cents.

K thanks all I think I will go with SISO now to find one in Canada for a good price.
