Question straight pipes

I own a 98 f150 and want to install a cutoff valve right in front of the catalytic converter and run straight pipes but I am not sure if it would propose any problems with the engine because of the censors or if there would be enough backpressure. Basically it would be bipassing the catalytic converter and muffler. Would anybody know anything about how the best way is to do this, or if it would cause any problems?

you may be able to get away with it, but i dont think you will. i thiink that second O2 sensor is too important, or it wouldnt be there. i think you would have some diveability problems, not to mention performance issues.
