Catback for 2004 F150

Has anyone put a catback on their 2004 yet? If so, whose did you choose, and how do you like it?

I guess not. I would like to know as well. It seems there's not a lot out there yet in the aftermarket.

I havent done it yet, but as soon as I can save the money for it I plan on installing the Borla split rear exhaust system. Have owned their product before and loved it. Their warranty is good as gold too.

I just installed a Gibson Dual sport this weekend. If you want a quiet system this is the one.I am 40 now and the constant noise of the Flowmasters on my buddies Z71 drives me crazy . Nice low mellow sound when you accelerate otherwise as quiet as stock,no highway drone at all.
Anyway the install was a piece of cake except for the clearence for the second or rear most pipe. I have a 04 Lariat with the factory 18" wheels and the clearence between the rear pipe and the spare was less than 1" so I got some headder wrap and covered the rear pipe to shield the spare.

Yes, I too went with the Borla cat-back split rear exhaust system. I really like the way it looks and sounds. If interested I have some pics in my gallery.

How about some PICS of the system, especially the tips? Where did you purchase yours and how much? Did you get the SS??

My uncle just bought an 04 F-150 and the dealer told him that intalling a Flowmaster Catback system would void the warranty. Ever heard of that???

Installed the Magnaflow cat back on mine and the dealer never said a word about it.
