Borla Installed

I have a 2001 Screw. I put a Borla, single exhaust, cat-back on last weekend with help from my bro-in-law. Installation wasn't too bad. Some WD-40 on the hangers and a hacksaw was all it took. I'd borrow a sawz-all next time. Total time about an hour and a half.

The Borla sounds very good. Not too loud but loud enough.

Question

I have the same Borla exhaust for my Supercrew, I just have to install it. Where on the old exhaust did you cut the old pipe before the old muffler? I am thinking to cut the old pipe right where it joins the y-pipe, is that where you cut it?

It will get slightly louder with some miles on it. By far the best system for a Ford.

I also installed a Borla catback for my '97 F150 Supercab longbed yesterday. Mine is a SI/DO rear exit. I must say I love it. Throaty, but not obnoxious. Can't wait to hear it after it gets broken in, but I love it either way. Best $250 I spent!
