Does Mike's magnaflow system exit before the rear tire or after? Do we have a choice?

Thanks!

Mike T sells the same #15609 system as everyone else. No choice on exit location, behind the right rear tire in the factoory location.

I bought the Magnaflow 15609 from Mike and installed it myself in the driveway over the weekend. I did go ahead and have the joints welded, just to make sure. It is perfect. I smile every time I turn the truck over.
The sound is a nice rumble but not enough to get the wife agitated.

I was not sure about the single out until I saw it on the truck and now I am completly sold. It is different from most of the duals around here and the SS looks perfect in the stock position.

I have no personal experience with Flowmaster, but have friends that do. I have a Magnaflow cat back system and am completely satisfied with it. Cab noise is a big complaint from my buddies with Flowmaster.......not a problem for me at all. It sounds good at idle or when you give it some gas......

I just bought Mike's Electric Fan kit, on Friday, so now it's time to upgrade my Exhaust! It's a toss up. Magnaflow w/ y-pipe or Bassani cat-back. Borla's a great exhaust, but I don't like the tips at all. I'm looking for performance not sound, so between the two (Mangnaflow and Bassani) what would you all go for?

Thanks.

Question Mustang sound?

Crew dog,

Sorry for "piggybacking" your post, but while we are on the subject, does anyone know how I can get the mustang sound out of my 2wd 00 single cab 150 4.6l w/auto?

I was thinking of an H-pipe, but when I crawled under to take a look, the crossmember will cause problems (I think)

If no hope, I will just throw in a regular 40 series to take the place of the stock muffler until I think of another route to take.

Thanks alot guys!

I installed the Gibson Super Truck exhaust on my 97 F-150 with the 4.6 about a year ago. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Sounds great!
