I'm wondering how much louder the 5x8x18 is over the 15609. I'm looking for the nice throaty sound but do not want the interior drone.

I believe the 15609 comes with a 5x8x24. Would a 5x8x22 be better for what I'm looking for? This will be on a 2k2 4.6 Super Crew 4x4. I'm looking for a good sound on the outside, however, without the drone on the inside. I guess..what's the smallest size muffler I should go with that would satisfy this criteria.
