Thumbs up

nukeboot,

The Swept Side and Dual Sport both use the same muffler, sort of. Swept Side is of course si/so and Dual Sport is si/do.

AS for sound, Swept Side is about 2-3 decibals over stock and Dual Sport about 4-5.

Installation of the Swept Side is a breeze. Uses all factory hangers etc. The Dual Sport I wouldn't touch, I'd let someone do it. It's the same until it comes to hanging those *2* pipes out the back/side. I've heard stories about bad fits, rubbing etc. and a lot depends on application, tow hitch or not etc.

Do searches going back to December-January time frame. Somewhere I and someone else posted pics of the exhaust exit for someone. I the Swept Side they the Dual Sport.

If louder sound isn't you priority and towing and pulling is, you can't go wrong with the Swept Side. Mine pulls like a mule

Good luck.

Question

For SMCCONAGHIE,

Have you installed the Gibson Dual Sport system yet? Any problems? Have to relocate anything (like the spare tire)?

I want to order that system, but I want to hear from somebody who has actually had one installed.

Can anybody help with some instalation info?
