Question Dual Exhaust

'97 F-150 with the 4.6. Already have one Flowmaster. It has two cats on it from the factory, so converting to true dual exhaust looks pretty simple. Question... just how much more power will true dual make? Will I lose any precious torque? I'm sure it will sound better, which is one of the main reasons. Is it true that they come stock with 2 converters?
Thanx!!!
