I was under the impression that all the stock exhaust pipe was 2.25" (2 1/4in)
On the newer F-150s.
Well I was under my '98 F-150 the other day and measured the pipe diameter and it read
2 1/2in. And that is complety stock piping.
Mabye is it because mine is a Canadian truck? just a thought.
Could someone tell me what's goin on.

Yes Mad Dog, it's 2.5". The driver's side is squeezed down to 2.25" as it enters the Y-pipe. The tailpipe section has many press bent tight bends and is slightly reduced as well.
