I have narrowed my muffler selection to these two. Is the ravin worth the extra money? i can get the FM for 130.00 muffler only,installed. Ravin will be 250.00 muffler only installed. I want to do this by the weekend. i like the sound of the FM50, i have not listened to the Ravin. again, will i gain better sound or performance with the Ravin? thank you

Based on the research I have done, I was told to expect about a 5% improvement in performance with the Ravin' Z-55 (over the FM50). However, the difference is not that big and I know there are a lot of happy Flowmaster owners on this board so you probably can't go wrong with either one. Me... I went with the Ravin for two reasons: (1) great reviews on this board, (2) I wanted the best overall sound/performance mix.
