2003 Screw 5.4/Where Should New Exhaust Exit?

I have a 2003 F150 Screw, 5.4 Lariat 4x4 FX4, and I am going to have a si/do Magnaflow exhaust put on. I am thinking of having the exhaust exit out the rear of the truck under the bumper as I like the look. However, I tow a Ranger boat and several friends have said that the exhaust could damage the boat or the tips could go underwater when launching/loading the boat. What do you think?

Well this is only my opinion but, I don't think you're going to damage the boat. By the time those 4 cats get done with the exhaust there isn't much there other than water vapor. They probably will be under water on the dock but I've seen that from about half the vehicles that dump a boat. I've heard horror stories about vehicles stalling while the pipes were under water and then when trying to restart they actually sucked the water through the exhaust. I don't believe this to be the case, just an old wives tail. Anyway what it really comes down to is your taste, what do you want to see on your truck?
