Cool Finally bit the bullett

Well, I finally did it guys! Last Tuesday I went and had the Ravin Z-55 put on. It was after months and months of gut wrenching anxiety. I am very happy with this muffler. It has a nice tone, not too loud and no drone inside. At highway speed, it's hardly louder than stock, but it sounds good under acceleration. If there is any loss of low end torque, it is very minimal and cannot be felt. For those of you who like it loud, I would go with the Z-33, but with this being the primary vehicle and the future wifey-poo riding along I figured I would go with the more subdued tone. Anyway, I'm all smiles! Next Mod- SUPERCHIP!

any noticable HP gains?

I'm looking to put this same setup on my SuperCrew. Most of the Midas dealers around me are saying "it's not in our computers" meaning I think my 2001 truck.

If you are able too, I'd appreciate the part number for the muffler. was is single in/dual out?

Cool

Maybe it's just my mind playin' tricks on me with the new sound, but it sure feels a little peppier. It is single in/dual out. I went with the 3" inlet coupled down to 2.5" to maintain the stock pipe and not lose any low end. The outlets are 2.5". I'll get the part number and post them for you later tonight or tomorrow morning.

When I asked about one for the Expedition, they took me into a back office and let me choose the model I wanted. Didn't appear to be any "direct" replacements for any vehicle. Some custom work will probably have to be done.
