Just wondering if the tips (if any) that come with Gibson exhausts like the Sweptside has a bolt on tip? That's pretty cheesy if it does, or can you have it welded on?

Yes, they are clamp-on. The clamp is built in to the tips and doesn't look bad at all. As long as it's metal it can be welded. I tack welded mine on so they wouldn't get stolen.

Here's my Swept Side. The Tip is 3 1/2" but doesn't look very big in the picture, but I've also got it tucked up where it's not very noticable.

If you looked at this earlier, I've edited it and added a couple more. The clamp you see works well and doesn't look bad.
