Gibson SS install and performance
Check the posts here and in Exhaust Systems. There are a ton of posts on the subject. I posted details so I won't go to deep but, mine took about 3-4 hours doing it the hard way. You should be able to get a Swept Side installed in less than 2 hours max.
There are probably 4-6 people that have installed and posted in the last couple of weeks on the Swept Side and Dual Sport installations. Some did it themselves, some had it installed. Prices for labor ranged from $65 to $75 by a pro. muffler shop like Midas etc.
Look at all the posts regarding Gibson. Today I even posted some wav files of mine.

due to family commitments i paid to have my ss gibson swept back installed. i could not wait another week to do it myself. when i picked up the truck the tail pipe stuck out about as far as the mirror, and it looked kind of silly. i took the truck home and at night i pulled it into the garage to tidy it up. i used my sawzall to cut about 3 1/2 inches off the rear pipe. the sawzall went through this pipe like a hot knife through butter. i would imagine with the right saw, this job should be very quick and easy.
the directions from gibson said to cut off the old muffler pipe something like 16 or 17 inches ahead of the old muffler. the sawzall could do an job that could take over an hour
by hand in a minute. with good tools this should not take too long at all (i would guess easily under 2 hours).

Thought I would share some raw numbers. "Non-scientific" but the best I can do. Truck has 1800 miles and may lossen up a bit yet. 2 runs each direction on flat road, Shell 92 used for all gas (incl stock), 19-28 deg and winter weather, 20% 4x4, conventional oil, trans in overdrive.
As indicated in previous threads, the chip is a worthwhile upgrade, but the exhaust is also wonderful. Low end torque is now tremendous. Shifting perfect. Chip took 1 hour, directions were HORRIBLE. Exhaust 2 hours, directions ok. AirRaid 1 hour, directions excellent.
Stock, 600 mi, 4900 rpm upshifts
0-60 = 9.46 seconds
0-80 = 16.50 seconds
50-80 = 10.2 seconds
City = 13.4 mpg
Hwy = 14.8 mpg
Superchip Only, 800 mi, 5150 rpm upshifts
0-60 = 9.15 seconds
0-80 = 15.3 seconds
50-80 = 9.57 seconds
City = 13.1 mpg
Hwy = n/a
Superchip and AirRaid FIPK, 1200mi
0-60 = 9.75 sec (engine warm,fluids cold)
Chipped, AirRaid, Gibson SS, 1400 mi
0-60 = 8.38 seconds
0-80 = 14.80 seconds
50-80 = 9.18 seconds (using overdrive)
50-80 = 8.73 seconds (overdrive off)
City = 12.7 mpg
Hwy = 14.9 mpg
