Not sure but keep in mind Roger (online store) can get many different systems even if they're not listed.

I prefer Gibson but it offered what I wanted. Loud sound wasn't what I wanted. There are several postes (including mine) here and in "exhaust systems" with a lot of great info.

Cool

TE194,

The Flowmaster Force II has a 50 series SUV performance muffler. It is a single-in/dual-out with 2.5" tubes all around. The muffler measures 10w x 5h x 17"lg and is *not* the delta-flow.

I put the Force II on after the FIPK and the Superchip. Talk about spoiled. I didn't lose any low end, and I seemed to gain some power across the RPM range. not quite as much power as the chip, but I would say 10-15hp according to my expertly calibrated butt-o-meter and the tire-spin-o-meter. plus, the side outlets tuck up tight to the fender so I won't bash them when I am 4-wheeling in the mountains.

If I had to do it all over again, I would probably buy a 3"-in/3"-out 40 Series delta flow #9430419 and have a shop bend a 3" stainless tailpipe in the stock location. Cheaper, simpler, lighter system, louder outside, same sound inside.

The 3" outlet or dual 2.5" outlets are only good for a strong 5.4L. If you have one of the smaller motors, just go with a single 2.5" and you can't go wrong. Also, get all the joints welded so you don't have any rattles, squeaks, or leaks.

Welcome to the board.

Cool

Howies,
Thank you for your responce. I have a 4.6L,so I guess I will have to go with the 2.5 pipes and the 40 Series delta flow.I just talk with madis about the ravin exhaust system and they would have to custom fit the system for a 1997.there mufflers are center post and I will need the offset type. So I will be price out the flowmaster force II.
Thank you again. Tom

Sorry, I just saw your question. And the answer is yes, definetly.

I posted (well over posted) a lot in the Compute Chip section as have a lot of others.

Use the Search feature to find posts by me and others. I started posting in November and Chip install posts and updated late December. I'll like it chipped!

Familyride, I have 1998 4.6l sc 4x4 with factor exhaust, I am looking to go with duals and no muffler. Would I get good results if I just get the exhaust and a superchip, or do I have to get the exhaust, superchip and the airaidFIPK to get some extra power? Thanks for any info.
